2011 Was Awesome, 2012 Will Be...

2011 was pretty great for the band I must say, and for us in return. They played a lot of gigs and toured everywhere. They played festivals, streamed gigs, were on the telly and even had their music in three eps of Waterloo Road!

Hopefully they come to Canada so I might get the chance to see them, but otherwise can't wait to see what 2012 will bring.

It'll be interesting to see how long they continue to spin out The Big Roar, unless anyone knows any inside info that they've finished the promo cycle for it now. I hope the second album doesn't suffer because they've neglected to take a break it seems.

I don't think that TJF would release a half-arsed album. I'm sure they know we will be happy to wait that little bit extra just so they can release a cracker of an album

Well they could have put out a "full" album in 2009 but for various reasons, mainly artistic integrity chose to write more songs, have a record deal in place, hone their sound and wait until The Big Roar.

If it is down to the band they will not be rush releasing a second album unless Atlantic make them. Saying that back in October Ritzy was enthusing that they were "well ahead of schedule" with the songwriting process for album number 2 and by all accounts are enjoying the recording sessions.

Either way really looking forward to hearing new songs on the next tour, hopefully the album will follow when the band are 100% happy it is ready!
