Hi all,
I think it would be very sociable if we had somewhere to post our thoughts of the day...recipes, pet hates/loves, comedy tumbles, fashion tips, stain removal..you name it, the world is our oyster.
If, nothing else it will spread love and harmony amongst the good folk of this forum..and it is Christmas!

Never wear red and green it looks shit...unless it's a festive jumper and your nana bought it for you.
Oh and pasta is great for a hangover.

tips for a hangover .... i have found the mixture of a banana in the morning , nurofen at 11:00 and pro plus at approximately 15:00 works ok for me , however please read the labels guys just in case you should suffer any ill side effects from this volatile cocktail.

blue and green should never be seen apparently or is it brown and green ? oh ....... and crocs

re : hangover tips : usually, a bottle of Coke (real Coke,no pepsi or whatever) is my friend for the day. bananas and almonds do well too. And water,loads of water.

People always say never wear red&purple but I quite love it...I'm not really a fashion whore

A pint of water drunk before you go to bed can reduce hangovers..unfortunately i'm usually so pissed this gets forgotten.
Todays top tip..if it's snowing (lots in Manchester) wear a shoe or boot with a firm grip. Do not wear slippers like i did..you will end up on your arse.

unless of course you still get that urge to slide for a full half an hour on the piece of ice right outside your house!

in which case wear a pair of well worn chelsea boots and push.... and slide , remembering to keep the back foot a full 25 inches behind the first one , and not bringing the two feet together as my daughter does thereby .... ending up on her arse !

today it is cornish line caught mackerel fillets in a lemon and basil marinade .....

on toast !

The best thing to do with a hangover is to go back on the drink and worry about it the day after! Cant say im ever too worried about colour clashing with clothes!

I don't think it's wrong to wear the same clothes for 3 days..you can start to worry if people give you Lynx sets and it's not your birthday/Xmas.
Anyway, happy festivities to you all and may our paths cross lots in 2010.
