Hoping to see this band when I come back from my travels. Playing gigs around London area. Lead singer is girl from band called 'Jon and Jehn'
http://youtu.be/xUqDckQuqcg no recorded stuff as yet but I did listen to a couple more tracks on a radio show and they sound quite promising.

Saw them last week, full marks.

SBC will love them... Great drummer, deep bass, wonderful guitar and intense vocals. Don't miss out, apparently out of London dates planned for the next couple of months.

The Bristol gig is upstairs at The Thekla. I've only ever seen bands in the main room. Anybody know what the upstairs venue is like? I guess it's going to be pretty small. Just glad I've got my ticket already!

Only been up there for Dot-to-Dot. Assuming it's the same place, sort of small bar, minimal stage, poor view unless you're right at the front....

Seems strange to have them play there instead of the main stage. Oh well, better get there early!

Old news now, but thankfully they were moved to the main stage!
They were fantastic! Palma Violets were pretty good too.
There is a new live EP released soon, 2 tracks recorded at Nottingham and 2 tracks recorded at the Bristol gig. Listen to a track here:

Available for pre-order now: http://savagesband.com/shop/

They are also live in session on Huw Stephens show on Radio 1 tonight - any chance that someone can record it?

I posted the Huw Stephens session as mp2 from DVB-T on Dime last night - if you'd like it I can upload to sendspace and post the link - let me know.
