Be interested to hear what you think of 2:54, who are supporting. I like the stuff on their myspace, but don't know anything else about them...

Managed to only get into the venue in Manchester just after they had come on, hence i missed the supports, was a bit drunk and couldnt get anywhere near the front to see. On the plus side i thought they sounded great, will have to see them properly another time

Blood Red Shoes were excellent at Electric Ballroom one of the best times I have seen them.

I totally agree with you marra they were great, a tad gutted that they didn't play ADHD though, I was screaming at Steve for it and got a smile, even though they didn't play it.
I'm glad I was able to keep my spot on the front row, as there was this Scottish bloke who kept trying to get in front of me... not happening mate xD, although he left after about 3 songs???
Also it was nice to see the same security guard as TJF earlier this year, he remembered me and got me the set list again. :D

are you coming to Koko's marra?

Aye, agreed - they absolutely smashed it! Whats the chance of someone getting BRS andTJF on the same bill?

Glad to see this band getting some love. They are currently my second fave of the moment right behind tjf. Unfortunately I missed them on their last tour over here. Hopefully they will be making another in the spring.
You know it's not a party if it happens every night. Pretending there's glamour and candelabra when you're drinking by candlelight.

They did say towards the end of the set that they were going to be taking some time off next year :(

I remember reading somewhere that they would be playing some gigs in summer or just before summer or something... I really really hope that it is before mid/early july... cos I'm goign back to australia then and would be gutted to not get to see them live...

Now, I love BRS but has anyone else noticed that their new song - Cold - sounds like Greyhounds in places?!? Maybe it's just me........
