Seen them three times, I think they are getting better, pretty good though not life-changing just yet. The four / five tracks I know from records are by far their best - hopefully they'll must a good LP together.

Lexington was packed so must be getting some serious London hype.

I said earlier I could see the Shirley Manson comparison. Now, after listening a bit more, they sound like early (really early - 1987) All About Eve......

Does anybody here like All About Eve? My first major obsession.... (that was a long time ago...)

2:54 are touring. Dates here: http://www.twofiftyfour.net/ I'll be seeing them on the 6th. Maybe the 22nd as well. Oh yes, and an EP out (10" vinyl only, I think), but not till 14th nov. I'm hoping they have some at the gig :-)

on the plus side it does mean that when they come back it's more likely to be with the 10"

Where's news of the postponement? Can't see them cancelling the London show on the 9th. I want to get to it but it's a Wednesday so will wait and see.

Lemacq played this the other day - I'm not sure whether I was totally convinced. By no means rubbish - indeed far from it - but I was expecting something more spectacular?

The 10" can be nabbed on Recordstore in a signed form here:
http://www.recordstore.co.uk/recordstor ... 0000?back=

Rough Trade claim that the coloured vinyl will be random but this appears to guarantee colour.

I see they also have the video up on the Recordstore link - so I'll have to give it another listen!

I know the website looks a bit naff, but I generally get tickets from there, and they seem to be on the ball. Yeah, I'm surprised there's nothing on the band's website/facebook though....

I've ordered the 10" from recordstore. Not fussed what colour it is, just want to listen to it!

Well if there is, I'm a victim too! I too have a blue copy of scarlet with no sigs. (I was wondering if I was being dumb and not seeing them!) I'd take it to the gig to get it signed (assuming they reschedule) but taking vinyl to gigs seems hazardous.....

That's what comes of claiming you only wanted to listen to it!

BUT fear not the Recordstore guys have held their hands up and we will soon be getting another copy signed this time!
