Pink Playground

I have banged on about this band to Gooner and Whisky - I can't recall whether I've posted here so apologies if I have.....

A lovely band of the shoegaze persuasion - now more widely available after silly limited tape only releases of 50 (!) and 100.
Most of the "Pink Dream" tracks now appear on a nice looking 7" and newly released 10" and are guitar/ obscure vocal heaven.

The band are also set to have an upcoming release on Mexican Summer which should propel them towards more recognition and (you would hope!) maybe a UK appearance.

Yet another thread I've started with no takers (philistines! ) but this is another band (alongside Civil Civic) who have just dropped a tremendously impressive debut.
This one is on Mexican Summer in marbled pink vinyl, numbered of 750 and totally lovely. Cocteau Twins, Slowdive ,MBV and even Kitchens of Distinction are there in some way.

Lovely album in a year where there are a fair few wonderful albums about (although looking at The Fly's list you may not be aware of that!!!)

the samples sounded good, vinyl comes with download code so can use that in lieu of reccarrd player.
nb it is available from uk shops instead of the bandcamp - saves you $13 on postage

Mine came from the lovely Norman records with a number 684/750 so fairly near the end of the run.
You may have a very limited non numbered one - who can tell?

Glad you have dived in too - Pink Playground sound just tremendous to me...
There is a CD too - limited to 300 in the diminishing days of that format.
