I saw a band from Vancouver BC called Low Spin open for the Joy Formidable a couple of times now. The first time I actually didn't know who the Joy Formidable was yet, it was August of 2010 and I went to check out Low Spin and then was equally pleased when TJF hit the stage. Those 2 bands are dynamite together, if you haven't heard of Low Spin yet you should. They opened for them twice now in Vancouver and I think in Calgary too.
