BBC Wales session from October 2008

Postby rivaldo » Wed Apr 25, 2012 8:01 am

This week's Adam Walton show on BBC Wales has Last Drop from a session from October 2008 - listen from around 1hr 6 minutes. It's excellent:

Does anyone know what other tracks they did, and whether they're available anywhere? I haven't seen them at all.

The session was recorded in Wrexham September 2008 & broadcast first October 12th 08. Three tracks recorded:-Austere, The Last Drop & a early version of Anemone. The sound is a little thin, but the energy & playing is full on.
I recorded it direct from the radio on to a DVD. PM me & see what we can do.

Not absolutely sure as it's not on this PC, but I think it was last drop and austere. And some chat with George Lamb, who called them The Joy Formi-DAH-ble  Definitely acoustic, and no Matt. I have it dated as 18/8/2008

A mere 6 months later, here is an upload of the session. Many thanks to Vetiver, who tweaked the audio and sent me a CD, and apologies from me, as I forgot to do anything with it for several months. Anyway, here it is now, 4 years old but sounding just like yesterday. Or something....
